Arvato Systems, Advanco Form Serialization Partnership

Arvato Systems, an IT specialist and multi-cloud service provider that supplies serialization solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, and advanco, a pharma track-and-trace solutions provider, are joining forces.¹

The collaboration utilizes advanco's ARC platform and Arvato Systems' CSDB serialization platform, one that pharma companies worldwide to meet serialization requirements. This combination provides a plethora of options available at customers’ fingertips, while opening up the door to cost savings by taking advantage of the efficiencies that the platforms provide.

For one, advanco's ARC platform features solutions such as the Serialization and Aggregation Packaging Management Cockpit, ARC MES and ARC LES, which is able to all warehouse and packaging operations on the shop floor. ARC is built on a scalable serialization and aggregation software platform and can reportedly tackle challenges ranging from low-volume scenarios to complex heterogeneous environments.

As for Arvato Systems, the company has gained recognition as a digitalization partner for the healthcare sector in particular, although it does operation in other industries as well.

Many links of the pharma supply chain may be aware of, serialization is continuing to become a requirement—specifically for pharmaceutical manufacturers—so that a system of drug safety, traceability and authenticity within the chain can be established.
